Ce qui est tr\u00e8s rare, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 les contraintes li\u00e9es \u00e0 ce m\u00e9tier de perp\u00e9tuelle itin\u00e9rance.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019abord les tout d\u00e9buts de l\u2019aviation commerciale, au sortir de la guerre, sur le fameux Douglas DC3, qui a ouvert la voie \u00e0 un nouveau mode de communication.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s l\u2019\u00e9vocation des diff\u00e9rents appareils \u00e0 h\u00e9lice, toujours plus performants et toujours plus confortables, c\u2019est l\u2019av\u00e8nement des avions \u00e0 r\u00e9action. La Caravelle d\u2019abord, puis le Boeing 707. Un v\u00e9ritable bouleversement dans les relations entre les pays et les peuples, avec des temps de trajet plus courts, un confort appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 et une s\u00e9curit\u00e9 renforc\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Une nouvelle \u00e8re s\u2019ouvre avec la cr\u00e9ation des gros porteurs, les Jumbo jets aux capacit\u00e9s surprenantes. Jusqu\u2019\u00e0 500 passagers peuvent \u00eatre achemin\u00e9s sur de longs trajets, dans le Boeing 747 d\u2019abord, puis, dans le Douglas DC10, petit fils du DC3. La grande capacit\u00e9 d\u2019emport fait chuter les tarifs, chute dop\u00e9e par une concurrence s\u00e9v\u00e8re entre les compagnies. L\u2019avion s\u2019ouvre alors \u00e0 toutes les classes sociales ou presque. Le transport a\u00e9rien se d\u00e9mocratise, avec malheureusement la perte d\u2019une certain style de vie, politesse, courtoisie, savoir vivre.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9pisode du Concorde constitue l\u2019apoth\u00e9ose de la carri\u00e8re des tous les heureux navigants qui ont eu le privil\u00e8ge de servir \u00e0 son bord. Un avion exceptionnel, in\u00e9gal\u00e9 \u00e0 ce jour. Malheureusement r\u00e9serv\u00e9 \u00e0 une \u00e9lite tr\u00e8s ais\u00e9e. Des hommes et des femmes d\u2019affaire, et c\u00e9l\u00e9brit\u00e9s du moment, jetset et athl\u00e8tes de haut niveau.
